Green Hours presents:

A.L.T. Trio feat. Gabi Matei

Guided by the spontaneity of improvisation, Colombian guitarist Lucas Contreras, pianist Albert Tajti, and vocalist Ioana-Teodora Spînu present original compositions and jazz standards in an accessible and expressive style. The trio has performed at TAMTAM Festival (Brașov), Jazz Bastion, Breaza Jazz Pop Rock Festival, and in numerous jazz clubs in Bucharest.

Albert Tajti – Pianist and composer, graduate of the “Gheorghe Dima” Music Academy in Cluj and the National University of Music Bucharest (Jazz). Active since 2011, he has collaborated with leading Romanian jazz artists and performed at major festivals such as Bucharest Jazz Festival, EUROPAfest, and JazzTM. His work explores jazz alongside funk, afrobeat, electro, and hip hop. Recent highlights include performances in Berlin and at JazzX Festival.

Lucas Contreras – Colombian jazz guitarist, trained at Universidad El Bosque (Bogotá) and the National University of Music Bucharest (Jazz). Known for blending Latin-American influences with jazz, he performs in various formats. He is a member of 7th Sense and has appeared at major festivals including Gărâna Jazz Festival, Smida Jazz, and Jazz in the Park.

Teodora Spînu – Jazz vocalist and pianist, graduate of the National University of Music Bucharest. She has performed at numerous Romanian festivals and has collaborated on projects such as the musical Tarot Tales and the trio Trei de Jazz.

Gabi Matei – One of the leading drummers of Romania’s new jazz generation, recognized for his versatility and improvisational voice. A graduate of the Prince Claus Conservatoire (Netherlands), he studied with renowned international artists and has performed at major festivals including Gărâna Jazz Festival, Sibiu Jazz Festival, JazzTM, and Jazz in the Park. His career includes collaborations with top jazz musicians from the US and Europe.
