Noise Linguistix is a musical initiative of Bulgarian bassist and composer Mihail Ivanov. He’s been active on the European jazz scene since 2007 alongside artist and bands such as Bodurov Trio, Blazin’ Quartet, Rambo Amadeus, Malik Mezzadri (Magic Malik) Itamar Borochov, Michael Mossman, Liz Wright, Theodosii Spasov, Martin Lubenov to name a few.
Gravitating around the musical core of Noise Linguistix, guitarist Alexander Logozarov and bassist Ivanov, two of the most sought after musicians on the Bulgarian creative music scene, are a few very talented special guests.
Their debut album ‘Scattered Vibrations’ came out in May 2021.
For their performance at Green Hours, the duo will be joined by renowned Scottish pianist and composer Steve Hamilton.
His career stretches for over 25 years and includes collaborations with artists such as Billy Cobham, Bill Bruford, Freddie Hubbard, Pee Wee Ellis, Van Morrison and many others.
The chamber sound and the feeling of space alternate with dense rhythmical improvisations, unexpected and expected melodies and combinations of different timbers. The music is very sensitive to the input and moods of the players. Every guest musician through their unique vibe and sensitivity gives it a different dimension.
