Zaharenco is a musical project that explores the boundaries between jazz and contemporary music, fused with rock attitudes.
Its sound is characterized by melodic ostinatos, recognizable themes, and improvisation.

The band made its debut in November 2021 with the release of their first EP, Primordial Feelings. In 2024, Zaharenco released two singles marking the beginning of the “Conditions” series: Condition 5 — a piece that weaves modern and minimalist soundscapes, evoking influences such as GoGo Penguin and Portico Quartet; and Condition 4 (Suspended In Mid-Air) — a sonic exploration that seems to float, suspended between tension and release, continuing the journey begun with Condition 5.

This year, Zaharenco released the single Haze State, in collaboration with trumpeter Sergiu Bivol.
